This course will guide you in harnessing the power of therapeutic yoga to feel better in both body and mind. We will utilize practical, evidence-based techniques that have helped countless students find deeper comfort and awareness. Gentle movement, guided meditations, breath work and more to be explored and experienced throughout our eight weeks together. Students need a journal or notebook and writing utensils.
Note: This course combines lecture, discussion, and some experiential exercises, but is not an exercise class or exclusively a class of physical practice. Please come prepared for conceptual as well as embodied engagement with yoga techniques and traditions.
